Based in the Verde Valley near Sedona, Arizona, Christiane (Christi) Mikles, BSc, CVA is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and Traveling Pet Sitter. Christi will travel to your home, hotel, or vacation rental and stay with your pets so you can enjoy peace of mind during your absence . Your pets will receive their medications and meals on schedule in the comfort of their home. Christi is happy to travel farther from home for extended stays with your pet family, including out of state or globally! Christi has worked with domestic and wild animals for over 25 years and has been a traveling petsitter professionally since 2015. A former veterinary technician, Christi is certified in pet first aid and CPR. She offers dog walks, hotel visits, in-home petsitting, help administering medications, nail trims, and more. As a child, Christi’s family took in all the strays—from tarantulas and squirrels to the usual dogs and cats. Her previous employment and volunteer work in wildlife rehabilitation, small animal veterinary medicine, grooming, retail pet food and supply, doggie daycare, and management of a dairy goat farm, has given her plenty of experience with senior and special needs pets, and exotic animals.
