Well it’s official now and there’s no going back. I gave a formal written notice to my apartment complex today. My move out date is April 17th. I will miss this complex a great deal, the cats that I have befriended here and the great staff!
Now, I have to get packing!

Well I have still been undecided what to do about my apartment. Today I called and talked with my potential employers who want me to stay in their home until October 2009 and take care of their animals. It is a lot of responsibility to caretake someone’s property and house; take care of 13 cats and 1 dog and to make sure the landscaping stays alive in this Texas heat!
It was a “re-assurance” call for me. Just wanted to make sure everything was still a “GO”. We talked for awhile and I told her that I am going to give notice next week. That means I have 2 months to plan my move, store my belongings and then move into this house. They are leaving next week for several weeks to do more traveling; they already had met a woman who agreed to housesit for them during this period of time. But she was unable to do the 4 months during the summer…lucky me! I won’t be able to talk to them until they return which will be the 1st part of March.
I am looking forward to the adventure this will bring!
